Model Railway Layouts

We presently have a multi-gauge test track that is permanently set up in our clubrooms, a 'Thomas the Tank Engine' layout that we take to our Exhibition for visitors young and old to 'Have A Go' with and an 'O' gauge Exhibition layout called 'Nile Street Basin'.
In addition to this, the club is also in the process of building a new 'OO' gauge layout. This depicts a small diesel stabling point, and is being built as a tribute to two long-standing members of the club who have sadly passed away in recent years.

Our 'O' gauge Exhibition layout 'Nile Street Basin' depicts a small East London freight yard. Up until recently we have exhibited, depicting the 1920's/1930's era. However, we have now assembled a set of stock which will enable us to run it in the 1958-62 era.
A datasheet is available for the layout and a few photographs of the layout are shown below.
